12 ROUNDS BOXING CLUB, CLAPHAM JUNCTION

This is a documentary about a boxer named Jessica. While working in the garden with her father, Jessica was injured and later required spinal surgery. Her spine is crooked and she has misplaced vertebrae. As the issues mounted, she found herself in need of pain medication and steroids to get through the night. Her mental and physical health were both harmed by what she went through.

Even as a young girl, she exhibited a fierce fighting spirit. Jessica is the younger of two sisters, so she grew up learning self-defense moves on punching pads and bag work. A doctor recommended boxing because it kept her mobile, so it's no surprise that it will turn out to be the answer.

She is now in better physical and mental condition as a result of her gym experience, which has not always been pleasant. Jessica says that she traded agony for glory throughout her day at the boxing stadium. She loves the 12-Round Boxing Gym, where she trains, since it keeps her in shape and brings her joy. These twelve pictures show her hard at work in the boxing gym, where she trains with passion and intensity. It's a tale of willpower and ambition. Many members of today's youth population can identify with Jessica's experiences. My hope is that this story would inspire someone who is having a hard time of things to believe in themselves and to keep reaching for the stars.
